Arrival at João Pessoa airport (JPA). Our hostess will be welcoming everyone at the airport to transfer to the hotel. Group meeting in the hotel lobby to go for a walk at the João Pessoa crafts fair by the sea and then participate in a delicious dinner as an introduction to regional dishes. Overnight at the hotel.
Check-out and journey of approximately 3h30 to the municipality of Areia – a city listed as a Historical Heritage Site by Iphan. Arrival for tasting at a cachaçaria followed by lunch. We will then take a guided walking city tour of the historic center and discover this space that has been the setting for countless audio visual productions. Travel to the city of Cabaceiras, check-in at the rural inn. Dinner and overnight.
Breakfast and departure to the city of Taperoá to visit Fazenda Carnaúba, producer of award-winning goat cheese and belonging to the family of the world famous writer Ariano Suassuna. Lunch at the farm and return to Hotel Fazenda. Group meeting at the hotel bar to chat and then learn how the famous Bode no Buraco is produced, which will be served at dinner.
Nature walk during sunrise. Breakfast, check-out and departure to the city of Campina Grande. It’s a 1h30min journey. Check-in at the hotel and departure to Galante where there will be a practical country cooking class. In the afternoon we will enjoy the farm environment and go horseback riding. Return to the city and free night.
