Day 1

The Food Safaris Bahia starts with the arrival in Salvador (SSA) – we suggest booking a flight arriving until 5 pm. Our team will be at the airport awaiting your arrival to take you to our hostel, located in Pelourinho. Meeting of the group with our hosts and walking to the Teatro Miguel Santana, in the Historic Center, to watch the Balé Folclórico da Bahia, the only professional Brazilian folk company. Then, we go to a awared restaurant for a 7-step menu with contemporary flavors from Bahia.
Return to the inn and overnight.

Day 2

Breakfast at the inn and departure to Bahia Marina where we will meet Chef Fabricio Leme who will take us on a boat trip in Baia de Todos os Santos. We will go to the village of Baiacu located on the island of Itaparica where we will be welcomed by the Cooperative of Fishermen and Shellfish Collectors. There, we will do an immersion with the locals, including the search for seafood in the mangrove. Our lunch will be prepared by the chef over an open fire – a gastronomic experience with fresh ingredients and in the company of the women . Return to the inn in the late afternoon. Free night and overnight.

Day 3

Breakfast at the inn and check-out. With our bags in the van, we go to the São Joaquim Fair to know about regional ingredients, ending with a practical acarajé class. In the early afternoon, we will check-in at Praia do Forte inn and then we will go on quads along one of the trails of the Sapiranga Reserve, an area of ​​vegetation of Restinga and Atlantic Forest until reaching the Pojuca River. We will have a happy hour at sunset and return to the inn. Free night and overnight.

Day 4

After breakfast, we will take the day off to contemplate the food production of a religious advisor of Afro-Brazilian culture. There, we will have an immersion with Bahian women who produce palm oil and manioc flour. Lunch will be prepared by them and served.
Free afternoon to enjoy the beach. In the evening, we will contemplate the tasting menu at a special restaurant. Return to the inn and overnight.

Day 5

Breakfast and checkout. Departure at 10 am to Salvador airport in order to catch your return flight. End of Food Safaris Bahia.
